About AdvoKate

Care shouldn’t be a privilege. At AdvoKate, it isn’t.

Founded by a Doctorally-prepared Nurse Practitioner and professor who trains the next generation of NPs, AdvoKate exists to transform what care looks and feels like—especially for people and communities too often overlooked by the healthcare system.

With a background in both healthcare and education, and experience as a former middle school teacher in under-resourced neighborhoods, I’ve seen the long-term harm that comes from lack of access, cultural disconnect, and rushed, impersonal care. I created AdvoKate to be something different: a place where people are treated with dignity, listened to, and taught how to take control of their health.

AdvoKate is rooted in Berwyn and grounded in the belief that care is a process, not a transaction. That’s why every relationship starts with an in-home visit—to understand each patient’s story, environment, and goals. From there, care continues through virtual follow-ups, wellness partnerships, and tailored support that respects the whole person.

With a strong foundation in nursing education and clinical expertise, this practice reflects a core truth: true healing comes from treating the mind, body, and circumstances together.

Whether managing a chronic illness, trying to prevent one, or simply seeking care without barriers or shame, AdvoKate is here to walk that journey—together, with purpose.
